The Windrider 40 is the pack that super-efficient thru-hikers and backpackers graduate down to when their kits are dialed, and the calories and fuel they need along the way are never too hard to find. This pack is designed for on-trail, off-trail, and all-season environments, with mesh exterior pockets for content visibility, ventilation, and quick-drying of damp gear.

Features:

• Internal frame with two removable aluminum stays
• Padded non-removable hip belt with pockets
• Three external mesh pockets - easy to see what's in your pockets and allows gear to dry faster
  
• Tow over the pocket side compression straps for load security
• D-shaped flat bottom keeps pack upright while loading/unloading
• Roll-top closure with top Y-strap compression
• Internal mesh sleeve and hydroport
• Four exterior triglide buckles for optional pack accessories
• Daisy chain gear loops on the shoulder straps
• Grab loop and ice axe loop
• Sea, tape on all vertical side seams and behind all sewn-on pack features for added water resistance
