The Cutaway is Nashville Pack's flagship pack made for thru-hiking, day-hiking, and everything in between.

Designed with comfort and accessibility in mind, the Cutaway Pack is a great choice for thru-hikes, overnighters, and everything in between.

Nashville Pack's modular system allows you to mix and match packs and straps for a more personalized fit and look! This system will also allow you to set your straps at various widths, replace pieces independently, and allow you to build your pack for the specific conditions you will be experiencing. The vest straps (sold separately) make for an unparalleled level of fit and comfort.

Dimensions: Because the Cutaway Pack is a tapered half-cylinder (not a simple rectangle like many packs), the dimensions cannot be expressed as a basic LxWxH. The bottom of the pack is a half-circle with a 6” (15.2cm) radius (see photo #5). The back panel is 13” (33cm) at the point where shoulder straps attach and tapers to 12” (30.5cm) at the base (see photo #4). The circumference of the pack is ~35" (88.9cm) at 12" (30.5cm) below the collar seam and ~35.5" (90.2cm) at the collar seam. These dimensions allow a BV450 bear can to be packed in any orientation at mid- or upper-back. This is true for any of the torso lengths but the length of the pack below that point changes accordingly. The collar is 12” (30.5cm) with a circumference of ~36” (91.4cm) at the top opening regardless of pack size making the total height of the pack 12” (30.5cm) + the torso length.
