The Windrider 40 is the pack that super-efficient thru-hikers and backpackers graduate down to when their kits are dialed in. Three external mesh pockets provide ample room for gear without having to dig in your pack, and allows gear to dry fast. This pack ensures the calories and fuel you need along the way are never too hard to find. Made with fully woven Dyneema® 200-denier fabric that offers more durability with the same signature lightweight and 100% waterproof qualities as other Dyneema® fabrics. The Windrider is a comfortable pack that delivers premium performance for wherever you're headed.

- Internal frame with two removable aluminum stays
- Padded non-removable hip belt with pockets
- Made with exclusive Dyneema® Woven Composite 3.9: this fabric provides exceptional abrasion resistance, feels better to touch, and reduces crinkling in cold conditions
- Roll-top closure system with vertical compression straps that allows you to adjust the pack's volume, keeping the load compact, stable, and protected from the weather
- Top Y-strap provides compression and top-of-pack storage for gear
- Integrated 1/4" foam back panel adds cushioning and support for a more comfortable carry
- Redesigned outside pockets with more depth and lower back edges for easier access to water bottles and improved gear security
- Zippered hip belt pockets offer easy access to essentials
- Two removable contoured aluminum stays offer support and help distribute the load
- Seam taped on all vertical side seams and behind sewn-on pack features enhances water resistance, keeping your gear dry
- Sternum strap allows for easy adjustments along shoulder strap daisy chains
- Shoulder straps with frequent bartacks for increased sternum strap adjustment options allow for a customized fit
- Shoulder straps feature an adjusted shape for a more natural curve around your neck, providing enhanced comfort
